My name is Wang Lin. Forty years ago, I lived in a small village at the foot of a big mountain. All the people in the village were very poor, and they lived in low and dark houses. Children had to walk 10 kilometers to school every day. After school, they had to cut grass to feed animals. The living conditions were very difficult.

Now the government has helped us move away from the moutain and build a new village near a town. We have built tall and bright houses and wide roads. We have also built a new school near our village. Children in our village can get a good education. We live a much happier life now.
